Caitlin Meredith
After working as a field epidemiologist for Doctors Without Borders for ten years, Caitlin sought compelling work closer to home. She enrolled in the journalism masters program at the University of Texas at Austin where she was among the first journalism students to participate in the Actual Innocence Clinic at the Law School. As a student investigator she traversed Texas, interviewing inmates in prisons across the state, researching case facts, reviewing dusty files and finding lost witnesses. This work led to work with top-level criminal defense lawyers as a member of defense teams, and consulting on a wide array of legal matters.
